Apple TV+ is expanding further into the sci-fi genre with its upcoming series “Murderbot,” starring Alexander Skarsgård (“The Northman”). Never die.” 1987’s classic vampire film “The Lost Boys” is being made into a musical, directed by Michael Arden, fresh off his Tony-winning Broadway revival of “Parade.” David Hornsby (“Merry Little Batman”) and Chris Hoch will be handling the book. The Rescues will be providing the score with Tony nominee Ethan Popp (“Tina, The Tina Turner Musical”) as music supervisor. James Carpinello, Marcus Chait, and Patrick Wilson are set to produce. Game dev company Fntastic has announced it will be closing its doors mere days after the problematic early access launch of “The Day Before.” This is just the latest development in a seemingly never-ending list of issues surrounding the video game.  “Today, we announce the closure of Fntastic studio,” the company posted in a statement on X (formally Twitter). “Unfortunately, The Day Before has failed financially, and we lack the funds to continue. Legendary soft drink maker Jones Soda Co. has announced a line of carbonated beverages for your dog. The sodas will come in three pup-friendly flavors: beef, chicken, and turkey & gravy. Rapper/actor 50 Cent is making a documentary about the multiple sexual assault allegations being made against Sean “Diddy” Combs. In a post on X (formally Twitter), 50 also said proceeds from this documentary will go to victims of sexual violence.
