After some hiccups, the tv series adaption of the “Something Is Killing The Children” comic books is back underway at Netflix. Originally, Mike Flanagan (“Midnight Mass”) was attached to direct, but had to drop, presumably to focus on “The Dark Tower.” Netflix will once again be tapping the talents of German writers and showrunners Baran bo Odar and Jantje Fries to take over. “Living With Chucky” is a new documentary that dives deeper into the killer doll franchise, “Child’s Play.” Kyra Elise Gardner (“In Search of the Sanderson Sisters: A Hocus Pocus Hulaween Takeover”), daughter of legendary special effects artist Tony Gardner, wrote and directed the project.  Tony Gardner’s film credits include special effects and animatronics for “Seed of Chucky,” “Curse of Chucky,” and “Cult of Chucky.” This familial connection to the legendary horror franchise is a big part of the documentary’s perspective. “Living With Chucky” sees Elsie Gardner seeking out other families surrounding the “Child’s Play” films. Rock icon Ozzy Osbourne has decided to ditch being the Prince of Darkness to become the Prince of Gaming. The singer and his wife, Sharon Osbourne, both appear in a new ad for the PlayStation VR2 virtual reality game “Horizon Call of the Mountain.” The ad pokes fun at the family’s PG-13 persona from their reality show “The Osbournes.” The spot is even littered with the show’s hallmark bleeped-out profanity. Heinz and singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran have teamed up to launch Tingly Ted’s, a new hot sauce line. The Kraft Heinz Company worked with the chart-topping musician to create “the ultimate” hot sauce that’s the perfect complement to any food. From french fries to falafels Tingly Ted’s should have you covered. Tingly Ted’s will come in two flavors: It’s no secret Sheeran is fanatical for sauces, especially Heinz. An original factory-sealed iPhone just sold at auction for $63,356.40. Thats more than 100 times what it sold for back in 2007, when it first hit the market. The phone’s owner, Karen Green, got it as a gift from her friends to celebrate her becoming a manager at PetSmart. The thing is, she already had three phone lines through Verizon, and at the time, Apple’s iPhone was exclusive to AT&T. Blumhouse is launching a new arm to produce and publish video games! The venture will be headed by Zach Wood (acting as President), and Don Sechler (as CFO). Blumhouse Games will partner with independent game developers to bring their projects to life with original, horror-themed games on console, PC, and mobile. They are looking at innovative indie games with budgets below $10 million. As of February 20th, 2023, the frozen treat is back for a 53rd year. Shamrock Shakes are made with vanilla soft-serve ice cream, a secret mint flavoring, and topped with whip cream. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced Facebook and Instagram are rolling out a new paid verification service, Meta Verified. While Meta has typically given verification to notable users like politicians, executives, celebrities, and organizations to signal their legitimacy. This will be closer to Twitter Blue, the verification model Twitter released in December. Meta Verified will cost $11.99 a month on the web, and $14.99 a month on iOS. Washington D.C.’s Katsucon anime fan convention just took place, February 17th-19th. And like any Monday after a convention, social media is a buzz with cool outfits and cosplays. While we are sure there are plenty of creative clothes from the convention, everyone seems here for a CVS receipt dress with Cathedral-length train. Deemed “CVS-Chan” by its creator Ashentrees, she strolled the convention halls bravely rocking a 40 FOOT-LONG WHITE train on her dress. Making her possibly the bravest woman at any convention, ever. Ash custom-designed the printed cotton fabric to look exactly like a giant receipt from the drugstore chain. …
