Hi, I’m Ada. I like long walks in the graveyard, horror movies, comic books, and bringing you the latest in nerd-centric news.

What if we told you there was a possible “Ocean’s 11” prequel being rumored? One about…oh, let’s say…Danny Ocean’s (George Clooney) parents? Ok, so we have your attention, right? What if we ALSO told you “Barbie” stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling are possibly being eyed for those roles? Given the duo starred in Warner Bros. Pictures’ highest highest-grossing film ever, it makes perfect sense that the company would want them together again. This would also be the first project in the franchise since 2018’s “Ocean’s 8” starring Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett. Plot details for the “Ocean’s 11” prequel…

Sony recently issued a warning to PlayStation users who purchased tv shows made by Discovery Channel. Not only a warning, but more of a threat that the content will soon be removed. Discovery merged with Warner Bros. Pictures, and this move has already caused a slew of projects scrapped. PlayStation wiping this content is just the latest casualty in the push towards an all-digital/cloud-based future. “Due to our content licensing arrangements with content providers, you will no longer be able to watch any of your previously purchased Discovery content and the content will be removed from your video library,” the…

Subway chains are adding something special to their menus. Their signature footlong chocolate chip cookie, which is a significantly less unhinged way to incorporate dessert than the Cadbury Creme Egg Sandwich, is coming nationwide. These elongated treats were first rolled out in 2022 on National Cookie Day at limited locations in Florida. “The overwhelming response we received from fans around the country last year let us know that we needed to make the footlong cookie a permanent addition to our menu,” Paul Fabre, Senior Vice President of Culinary and Innovation at Subway, said. Select locations will become “Cookieway” stores serving the…

Director Francis Lawrence is in the hot seat for the long-gestating adaptation of Stephen King’s “The Long Walk.” The book was originally released in 1979, and there have been several attempts to adapt it since the 1980s. Hopefully, Lawrence will bring along the unique blend of the post-apocalyptic he cultivated doing four of the five “The Hunger Games” films.  “I’m now attached to The Long Walk, the Stephen King book. Very excited about that,” Lawrence said.  Plot details on what we may see in the film adaptation are currently under wraps. However, the novel takes place in a post-apocalyptic United…

Filmmaker Robert Eggers hit the horror scene in 2016 with his chillingly atmospheric film “The VVitch,” making a crater-sized impact on the genre. While his follow-up films “The Lighthouse” and “The Northman” did have rather unsettling scenes, neither were considered straight-up horror. But his fourth feature, a highly-anticipated remake of “Nosferatu” promises to be a return to the genre. “Nosferatu” was first directed by F. W. Murnau in 1922, starring Max Schreck. Despite being sued almost into oblivion for being a blatant rip-off of Bram Stoker’s novel “Dracula,” the film had a colossal influence on the horror genre. It was…

At this point, no plot or casting decisions have been made public. Let alone a ballpark on the number of episodes we may get for season 7 of “Black Mirror.” It is currently believed that executive producers Brooker, Annabel Jones, and Jessica Rhoades will be returning.…

Late last week, rapper Snoop Dogg claimed he was giving up ‘smoke’. Considering his pot-centric persona and the request to “please respect my privacy at this time,” people assumed that he was kicking chronic to the curb. Turns out the whole thing was just a marketing stunt, and his love affair with Mary Jane continues.  The singer has revealed the whole thing was to announce a partnership with Solo Stove, a smokeless fire pit brand. “I love a good fire outside but the smoke was too much,” Snoop said. “Solo Stove fixed fire and took out the smoke. They changed…
