Filmmaker Mike Flanagan continues his unofficial quest to adapt as many Stephen King novels as possible. This time he has his sights set on a “Dark Tower” series, based on works that King published between 1982 and 2012. “It’s moving,” Flanagan told Empire Magazine. “We’ve got a lot of scripts done for it. It’s the first priority.” He went on to refer to the series as an “oil tanker.” The “Dark Tower” series was adapted into a film in 2017, directed and co-written by Nikolaj Arcel. It starred Idris Elba as Roland Deschain, a gunslinger on a quest to protect…

On January 18 and 19th, customers can bring (almost) any bucket, and have it filled with delicious popcorn for just $5! To literally sweeten the deal, some locations will even have kettle corn available. You can find your nearest Cinemark…
Websites like IMDB are great because anyone can contribute to and help maintain them. Websites like IMDB are also terrible because anyone can “contribute” to and “help” maintain them. X user @RandomGuyOnIMDB is taking credit for deleting several voice actors’ credits from the online movie database. Why? Because he is mad, the new “voice actor – dubbing” category on the website isn’t porting credits over properly. Voice actor and writer Kamran Nikhad sounded the alarm to the community after discovering several of their credits were missing. “Heads up, VO actors: Some prick with too much time on their hands is…

Actor George Clooney has done some iconic roles over his decades-long career, but his newest film, “Jay Kelly,” pushed him to new limits. It centers around the titular character (Clooney), a self-absorbed, career-obsessed Hollywood A-lister. Despite all the adoring fans, he is estranged from his own family. Things come to a head when Jay accepts a lifetime achievement award in Tuscany, and the only person who shows is his manager (Adam Sandler). By all accounts, this is the exact opposite of Clooney’s real life, and the challenge of playing such a different role reignited his love for acting. “Jay Kelly”…
Comedy legend and “Saturday Night Live” alum Chevy Chase has always been a polarizing figure. While there is no denying his comedy golden days, tales of his behavior behind the scenes have led to some serious issues. CNN’s new authorized documentary “I’m Chevy Chase and You’re Not,” directed by Marina Zenovich, sheds light on the incident that led Chase to leave “Community.” In the documentary, “Community” director and actor Jay Chandrasekhar tells his side of Chase’s infamous 2012 N-word incident. Chandrasekhar “was there, directing, the night that Chevy Chase got fired from ‘Community.’” The outrage began when the episode they were shooting…
