LeVar Burton WILL Host “Jeopardy!” But There’s a Catch

This just in- it sounds like LeVar Burton will actually host an episode of “Jeopardy!” This news was confirmed by the quiz show’s official Twitter account.

We can finally tell you! Here is the final group of guest hosts to close out Season 37:

• David Faber
• Joe Buck

While we’re sad it’s not in the context we were hoping, it is a step in the right direction.

Since the passing of longtime “Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek, Burton’s name has been on the top of the list to take over permanent hosting duties. There was even a petition started, which is up to about 246k!
