STARZ released an official trailer for the upcoming 3rd season of their series “American Gods,” based on the book of the same name by Neil Gaiman.
If you’ll recall, the adventures of said series have been notable, so say the least. Originally developed by Bryan Fuller who eventually parted ways with STARZ due to “creative differences,” the show is now on it’s third showrunner. Fuller’s exit also prompted Gillian Anderson, who played the character Media, to quit due to her close ties to Fuller.
There is also the matter of the absolute bullshit firing of Orlando Jones, following his accusations towards “the new season 3 showrunner” of using race and racial considerations to drastically alter Jones’ character of Mr. Nancy in a way Jones did NOT approve of. While Jones didn’t actually NAME “American Gods” season 3 showrunner Charles Eglee, it’s pretty obvious that’s who he meant.
