When you think about religion often times you think church, Jesus and prayer. There have been a few instances where someone tried pulling a prank on someone and Obi-Wan ended up framed or even on a pamphlet for the Mormon church’s services.
Well back in 2016 according to a Facebook post from a Brazilian woman she told us that her catholic grandmother had been praying to Lord Elrond from Lord of the Rings.
Gabriela Brandao said that the small plastic figure of Lord Elrond was thought to be Saint Anthony. Saint Anthony was known for his powerful preaching and was the patron saint of lost things. Which is a bit ironic because this Lord Elrond figure is most likely a lost thing of a child or a collector that found it’s way to this grandmother’s possession.
This would have been a pretty funny prank but unfortunately it was the grandmother who assumed that the figure was one of Saint Anthony. But hey if you want to get your own figure of Lord Elrond to pray to maybe check out Ebay. I’m sure there are lots of figures of him there.
