For what I’m assuming is an AI creation this is also pretty hilarious. Arnold Schwarzenegger is well known for his grunting and noise making that he does in his movies. He was and still is a prominent figure in Hollywood so the idea of him lending his voice for a video game voiceover role isn’t completely out of the question. Him making sound effects for the 1984 video game Exitebike however, may be a little farfetched.
It’s one thing to imagine Schwarzenegger voicing a digital character in a contemporary video game, but quite another to picture him in a recording studio in the ’80s, grunting and yelling into a microphone for the sake of a game called Excitebike.
Excitebike was a popular motorbike racing game for the NES, and it was considered revolutionary at the time for its inclusion of a mode where players could create their own tracks. It was a fun, engaging game that was all the rage in the mid-’80s.
Whatever the case this video is pretty funny. It basically just does what I do all day long in my own head making sound effects for everything under the sun. That little car in the corner? Vroom vroom!
Anyway here’s the video of Arnold making sound effects for the NES classic Excitebike. Enjoy!
