HoYoverse has announced that Genshin Impact Version Luna V will launch on February 25. The update introduces Varka, the Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius, along with new events, character banners, and additional in-game features.
Varka joins the roster as a five-star Anemo claymore user. His combat style focuses on dual-wield attacks that allow flexible elemental damage. Players will also be able to unlock a new weapon appearance for both of his weapons through in-game rewards.
The update includes a seasonal event set in Mondstadt, the region where many players first began their journey. The event centers on revisiting familiar locations, reconnecting with characters, and taking part in themed activities.

Version Luna V will also feature new Event Wishes. Phase I highlights Varka and Flins, while Phase II shifts focus to Skirk and Escoffier. The Chronicled Wish banner featuring Mondstadt characters is also scheduled to return.
Another addition is the official launch of the Miliastra Wonderland voice feature. Players can earn a new Manekin or Manekina cosmetic set called “Owl Envoy” through event participation.
As usual, the update mixes new gameplay content with callbacks to earlier parts of the game, giving both returning and long-time players reasons to jump back in.
