Can’t say we had a collaboration between Anne Hathaway (The Idea of You)and Charli XCX (Faces of Death) on our 2026 bingo card. But we certainly aren’t mad about it either.
Hathaway recently joined forces with the Pop star on the song Burial. The new track is in support of her upcoming A24 film Mother Mary.

Burial is sung by Hathaway with lyrics she co-wrote with XCX, George Daniel, and Jack Antonoff.
Mother Mary, is written and directed by David Lowery (The Green Knight). The film tells the story of some traumatic, long-buried wounds rising to the surface. Everything goes sidways when pop star Mother Mary (Hathaway) reunites with her estranged best friend/former costume designer Sam Anselm (Michaela Coel) on the eve of her comeback performance.
Hathaway and Coel star alongside Hunter Schafer, FKA twigs, Atheena Frizzell, Kaia Gerber, Jessica Brown Findlay, Alba Baptista, Isaura Barbé-Brown, and Sian Clifford.
The soundtrack for Mother Mary is set to release on April 17th. The same day the film hits theaters.
