KITTIE Announces 30th Anniversary “Legacy of Fire” North American Tour

KITTIE has announced a North American tour celebrating the band’s 30th anniversary (they formed in 1996). Again I say geez, it’s really been 30 years? I remember buying Spit in 2000 and listening to it on repeat during my angsty period. Actually to be honest, I’m still in it and listening to the same damn album in my late 30s. Anyway… tickets go on sale this week! And I may have already ordered some through Stubhub.

The tour is dubbed Legacy of Fire and kicks off June 6th in St Louis and ends June 27th in Montreal. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday March 6th at 10 a.m. local time. The tour will feature special guests Kingdom of Giants and Gore.

Check out Kittie’s Facebook page for how to get tickets.

Kittie released a new album, Fire, in 2024. They also put out an EP in 2025 featuring rerecorded versions of songs from their 2000 debut album, Spit.

They are expected to perform all the hits but it’s unclear at this point if the vocals on some of the tracks from Spit will be the version from 2000 or the version they put out recently. KITTIE – Spit XXV was released just 6 months ago on YouTube so they will definitely play THAT version. But they *could* also play the old one too. Which I’m hoping for honestly, I know how to sing that one.

Wondering if the original members will be there? Well, probably a couple. Mercedes and Morgan Lander will be there and they were two of the founding members. If you remember it was Mercedes that played drums and Morgan who played guitar/vocals. The other members currently are Tara McLeod (Guitar) and Ivy Jenkins (Bass).
