Whether you’re old like me, or you just like listening to your parents music, the When We Were Young festival was the go to spot. Featuring band like My Chemical Romance, blink-182, Panic! at the Disco and many more, the festival was one that many put on their bucket list. If you planned to go for the 2026 festival however, we’ve got some unfortunate news for you.
The festival made the announcement that stated that they were going to take 2026 off so that they could give the festival the care it deserved. Stating that they’d be back in 2027.
“Festival organizers made the announcement on Friday, stating, “”The songs, the memories, the moments — none of it exists without you. After an unforgettable run in Las Vegas, we’ve decided to take 2026 off to give this festival the care it deserves and to make sure what comes next feels just as special as what came before. When We Were Young Festival will return to Las Vegas in October 2027. Thank you for showing up with your whole hearts every year. This isn’t goodbye — it’s just a pause. We’ll see you in 2027.”
Previous years saw bands perform in October at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds. And while this years was cancelled, we look forward to seeing everyone jam out in 2027.
