Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Totino’s Release Pizza-Flavored Cereal

When we found out Walmart was carrying pizza ice cream, we bought some. We ate it. We didn’t 100% regret it, but we weren’t exactly overwhelmed either. It’s not that it was awful, it just seemed completely unnecessary. We’re not sure if we’d feel the exact same way about this latest food that exists but shouldn’t, as Totino’s is teaming up with Cinnamon Toast Crunch for cereal.

The new flavor is a limited time thing, and is being promoted as a mashup between flavors. Or as Totino’s and General Mills is calling it, “a winning combination.” That is definitely one way of putting it. Just not sure if it’s a good way… Are these two products and flavors good in separate fashion? Of course, who doesn’t love Totino’s Pizza Rolls or Cinnamon Toast Crunch?!

That line from “Jurassic Park” about the scientists being so focused on if they could that they didn’t think about if they should comes to mind. How do cinnamon and pizza REALLY go together outside of dessert pizzas? Maybe we’re judging too harshly since the pizza flavored ice cream wasn’t THAT bad.

“This pizza-flavored cereal is a match made in mashup heaven, with bold flavors featuring the irresistible Cinnadust from Cinnamon Toast Crunch, paired with the savory pizza taste you know and love from Totino’s Pizza Rolls — served up in a pizza delivery box-inspired package for the ultimate experience,” the company said in a statement.

If you want to take your shot at enjoying this flavor, you can do so starting January 28th at 7pm (EST) on the official website. It’s first come, first serve, and you better believe these things will go fast. Even if it doesn’t sound appetizing, some of us have tried to participate in these giveaways only to come away empty-handed. So, get in there early and do what you can to get your taste of flavor history.
