It’s been two years since Netflix debuted its immediately hit show, “Wednesday.” “The Addams Family” side-story starring Jenna Orgeta was widely viewed and generally well-received by critics and audiences. A second season was all but guaranteed and while that’s still forthcoming, we do know a certain singer will be making characters go “Gaga” when the next chapter of Wednesday’s saga unfolds.

3-time Oscar nominee Lady Gaga is headed to Nevermore for season 2 of the Netflix series.

Ortega had previously alluded to this being something she’d like to see. “I think Mrs. Thornhill and Wednesday had this weird mentor relationship or kind of understood each other in a certain way, so, if Lady Gaga were to be a part, I think it would have to be two monsters that understand each other.”

The first season of “Wednesday” had some star power behind it with Christina Ricci and Catherine Zeta-Jones bringing their talents to the series. Lady Gaga is actually just one of many big names linked to this second season, joining Steve Buscemi, Christopher Lloyd, Haley Joel Osment, and others. We don’t know what kind of a part Gaga will play yet.

At the moment there’s still no release date set, but given we’re running out of time for 2024, it looks like we’ll be holding on until next year to see how Wednesday’s journey through Nevermore Academy continues.

You can catch season 1 of “Wednesday” on Netflix now.
