When I was a kid, I thought one of the most amazing powers Disney princesses had was the ability to talk to animals. I would sit still and wait for an animal to approach me by trying to give off an unthreatening aura. And, while I could never get any of them to trust me, it seems that others apparently don’t have that issue. One woman for sure doesn’t as she was whisked away by a forest creature so that she could see it’s nest.
Petnarianpets shared a video of a woman being led by a finger by a squirrel to their nest. We assume they must have known each other because we did spot a ladder already in the tree. This could be a case of a successful catch and release that still maintained some relationship over time. Maybe similar to jeweler Todd Alan that has a squirrel that he rescued that still comes to visit him in the shop. Or maybe the person just liked to build things for the squirrel to enjoy like this fellow would make benches for squirrels to sit and eat at.
