WoW Dragonflight — Reviewing Story and New Features

The ninth expansion to the World of Warcraft MMO will be released soon. So it is time to go through new content and prepare for an epic experience. Everything you need to know about WoW Dragonflight story and content  — in the overview below.

    Story Synopsis

But the main idea of the story is clear — dragons are back! It includes the legendary dragon aspects too. Players have seen them in the Cataclysm. Neltharion was driven crazy by the Old Gods, initially becoming Deathwing. Other Aspects Alexstrasza, Kalecgos, Nozdormu, and Ysera helped the heroes to defeat the mad dragon. After losing all their powers at the end of the expansion, they are ready to restore their status as protectors in Azeroth.

What enemies and challenges await Alliance and Horde? WoW Dragonflight lore features old characters and actual world status. There is peace between factions now, so a new foe will show himself.

    New Areas

The main events of the expansion take place on the Dragon Isles — the homeland of the dragonflights. It is divided into five regions (including the new race starting point): The Forbidden Reach, The Azure Span, Ohn’ahran Plains, The Waking Shores, and Thaldraszus. The Isles has a primal aesthetic with notes of sublime architecture. The land is also different in terms of ground levels — you will need to glide through the high mountains and rocks.

    Gameplay Changes

    New Race and Class

The New Dracthyr race has two highly customizable Dragonkin and Humanoid forms. They also possess the secrets of the Evoker class. Only Dracthyr can use their dragon physiology and magic to perform powerful attacks and become a midrange caster with DPS and Healer roles. Evoker is also a Heroic Class like Death Knights: they will start a journey at level 58. This Dragonflight class changes the game and creates a unique combination of class and race. The best way to try out a new class in its full potential in WoW boost. Check WoWVendor services if you want to save time and get rid of annoying grind.

Like Pandarens, Drachtyr is a core race that has a starting location and a choice between two Azeroth factions. They also have unique and detailed customization possibilities for both playable forms.

    Dragonriding

The new aerial traversal system will allow you to glide through the landscape. Dragonriding has its own mounts, talents, and customization features. Fly on the drake`s back in a challenging mini-game to gain momentum and get as far as possible. We are sure that this will be the essential Dragonflight content everyone needs to try.

    UI

WoW interface has stayed almost the same since its launch in 2004. But for Dragonflight UI changes become one of the core features of the update. The overall design was modified — maps, portrait, and basic “gryphon” bar now have a more modern, minimalistic look. (And finally, windriders will replace eagles for the Horde design!)

Players can transform the UI however they like now. You can add and customize bars and change their size and position. Interface templates can also be shared among gamers.

    Talent Trees

Trees are back. Players will be able to pick specific talents and abilities to make their gameplay unique with class and spec tree. Skills will not be granted after leveling up like before. Now you need to distribute skill points. If some ability is useless for the playstyle — upgrade something more effective.

Talent trees are a significant Dragonflight class change. It allows you to configure playstyles and gain maximum effectiveness in combat. The point is to create a good singularity between class and specialization abilities. For example, several skills in the Rogue tree are dedicated to poison, so it will be wise to use them with the Assassination spec.

Tip: Rogue, Mage, and Priest classes are available for all playable races.

    Professions

This WoW Dragonflight overview could not be complete without mentioning new profession features. Players can now communicate with each other via crafting orders — when people ask for specialists to create a specific item. If you don’t have the necessary skills, you can get a perfectly crafted item after all. Of course, the crafters themselves will get paid for their efforts. For those seeking to expedite their progress or acquire rare items quickly, exploring options like WoW gold for sale can provide access to the resources needed to thrive in Azeroth’s ever-evolving landscape.

Professions also will get additional mechanics. Specialization allows one to improve one aspect of craftsmanship. For example, blacksmiths can become Weaponsmiths and create better weapons.

To craft even more quality items, pay attention to new stats: inspiration (add bonuses), Resourcefulness (use fewer ingredients), Multicraft (create extra items), and Crafting speed (suitable for making a huge amount of items).

By progressing through the profession, you will get Quality Ranks. This new upgrade system includes five tiers. Higher tiers mean a better level of the item you will craft.

That is all the essential info we want to share in this WoW Dragonflight review. Prepare — new adventures are on the way!
