Video Games That Could Change 2022

Every New Year always brings about exciting potentials for many industries. This is especially true for the gaming industry, as the New Year always starts with the promise of new, exciting releases. Everything from games to platforms and entire consoles is laid out by the industry’s biggest developers. There is so much going on and being released that it can be hard to keep up with it all. Luckily, there are sites like this, so you’ll know exactly what and when to jump into action.

February 4th, Dying Light 2: Stay Human

If there was one game that made the biggest unexpected impact on the gaming industry it was without a doubt Dying Light. The original release came virtually out of leftfield and took the entire world by storm. And it did it during a time when the zombie genre was at its biggest. To make things even more interesting, it’s more about movement than anything else. You aren’t just blasting and blowing mindless freaks with an endless array of weapons. You are carefully evading and strategically maneuvering around the enemy. The enemy also grows stronger during the night.

The sequel is said to only raise the bar even further. As you make your way through this new zombie-ridden world, you’ll get to see your choices unfold in the story and the surrounding world itself. You’ll choose between vying factions, seek out better equipment, and meet a whole array of interesting characters. The surprisingly popular parkour/melee-based combat system will be returning, with a whole new selection of exciting skill trees that’ll allow you to completely customize your leading hero.

    March 4th, Gran Turismo 7

There honestly hasn’t been a groundbreaking racing game released in the previous years. In fact, there haven’t been many and what had been released grew rather trite quickly. That’s likely because there is only so much racing and customizing you can do before it just gets repetitive. However, if there is one racing that could shake up the industry, it would be the long-followed Gran Turismo franchise.

The franchise dates back to the very early years of PlayStation and has already seen much success. Developers spent some time experimenting with online competitions on GT Sport. If you aren’t a social gamer, fear not because the release of this new edition promises a whole exciting offline Career Mode, where you can play at your own pace and experience your adventure. Some of the most beloved tracks and characters are expected to return as well as some new and exciting ones.

2022 Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League

Rocksteady has become recognized for a lot of things over the years. However, as of recently, they’ve only been known for staying quiet. It has been seven long years for fans since the release of Batman: Arkham Knight. With that time off, they are promising the release of something entirely different in Suicide Squad. The biggest and most notable difference mentioned thus far is the new four-player co-op gameplay.

You’ll be able to choose between characters from the Suicide Squad and go to battle with Superman, Wonder Woman, and other Squad members. With the long-awaited debut, Rocksteady also promises another exciting release in 2022. This would be the release of Gotham Knights. Although the games are set to release in the same year, they are based in completely different worlds. Kill the Justice League is set in the Arkhamverse, so expect plenty of Easter eggs. 2022 The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Sequel

How could fans not be excited about a Breath of the Wild sequel? The original was only one of the last-gen’s best games, if not the best. Right now developers are referring to the game as the Breath of the Wild Sequel, but it is said to go by a different name. Developers fear that releasing the official name of the game will give too much away about the story too early. This is interesting when you consider it.

As for other aspects, there have only been minor glimpses into the gameplay, but there has been the promise of new flying abilities. With the ability to traverse the skies, players will have a much wider platform to explore and experiment around with. The waiting is almost too much.
