Star Wars: The Empire Strips Back Returns to Los Angeles

After a successful run in San Francisco, “Star Wars: The Empire Strips Back” is returning to Los Angeles later this year. The event blends classy burlesque parody with the pop culture juggernaut that is the “Star Wars” franchise. The show started in Sydney, Australia in 2011, and was an instant hit.

It is once again touring the world, while it continues to become more elaborate. The move to LA comes after a sold-out, critically acclaimed 8-week run at the Warfield Theater in San Francisco.

This sultry striptease features gorgeous sets and costumes paired with great music and world-class dancing. While it boasts “seriously sexy Stormtroopers, a dangerously seductive Boba Fett, some tantalising Twi’leks, a delightfully luke-warm Taun Taun, a lady-like Skywalker, the Droids you are looking for and much, much more!” even nonfans of the franchise are sure to find something to pique their interest. But really who doesn’t love a sexy storm trooper?

Even if you can’t make it to the live show, The Empire Strips Back also has its own magazine- Wookieerotica. (Their tribute to the men’s magazines of the 1970s, all of course set in a galaxy far, far away.)

The Empire Strips Back will be coming to the Montalban Theater in LA on November 17th. Tickets will go on sale on  September 14th, but you can get access a day early if you join the waitlist now. Tickets can be purchased directly from the website here.
