“Better Call Saul” star Bob Odenkirk collapsed on the set during filming in New Mexico on Tuesday, July 27th. No cause has been released, nor has a status on the award-winning actor.
All we know for sure is that yes, Odenkirk was filming “Better Call Saul” season 6 when he reportedly collapsed. He was rushed to a local hospital by ambulance, and that’s about it for public consumption as of this writing.
Actors and co-stars have been offering their thoughts and prayers, like co-star Michael McKean and”Breaking Bad” star Bryan Cranston the most recent to speak out.
“Today I woke up to news that has made me anxious all morning. My friend, Bob Odenkirk collapsed last night on the set of Better Call Saul. He is in the hospital in Albuquerque and receiving the medical attention he needs but his condition is not known to the public as yet. Please take a moment in your day today to think about him and send positive thoughts and prayers his way, thank you.“

Odenkirk’s reps have since updated the media at large with the following statement to TMZ, who say sources have confirmed to them this was a “heart-related incident”:
“Bob and his family would like to express gratitude for the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, as well as his cast, crew and producers who have stayed by his side. The Odenkirks would also like to thank everyone for the outpouring of well wishes and ask for their privacy at this time as Bob works on his recovery.”
