It looks like San Fransico is following in the footsteps of Glasgow, Scotland with its own outrageous Willy Wonka-themed experience. Mystic Midway and Mondo Wonky will be putting on “Into the Wonkyverse,” an immersive adventure. We just hope it isn’t the AI-powered dumpster fire that Glasgow was.
Guests are invited to step onto an enchanting Candyland-like gameboard that houses free exhibits showcasing local artists. After a few hours, a ticketed event will begin with more art, music, performances, games, dancing, and more.
‘In the Wonkyverse, everyone is invited to contribute to the experience,” Barron Scott Levkoff, event creator said. “Guests are invited to wear Wonka-inspired costumes and become a part of the show!” Adding “Mondo Wonky is more than just a party, it’s a celebration of Bay Area Creative Community and a testament to the enduring spirit of Art & Innovation in San Francisco!”
