The film wrapped up production earlier this year, so it is unknown what the agreement will be used for. Two iconic Monster Jam monster trucks were engulfed in flames after a crash on California’s Highway 50. While passing through Sacramento on August 30th, the trailer carrying the vehicles caught fire in the eastbound lanes. Fire officials confirmed the driver was able to release the tractor from the trailer before it to could be engulfed in flames. California Highway Patrol (CHP) closed down the area for three hours, allowing tow trucks to remove the trailer and damaged trucks. Luckily there were no injuries, the two damaged trucks were Megalodon and Scooby-Doo. The trucks were on their way to maintenance work…

Netflix’s musical film adaptation of the comics, “The Archies,” will be streaming this December. The Bollywood adaptation set in 1964 and will follow the Archie Gang as they navigate the transition to adulthood. There will be a rock ‘n’ roll heavy soundtrack, which makes sense for a bunch of teens becoming adults. Though the focus of the movie will be on teenagers, this movie aims to offer something for all ages. “The Archies” is written by Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar, the team behind “Made in Heaven” and “Gully Boy.” Ayesha Devitre (“Gehraiyaan”) also had a hand in this screenplay.…

“The Great,” the period piece show about Russian Empress Catherine II, has been canceled by Hulu after its third season. The series starred Elle Fanning (“Maleficent”), as Catherine and Nicholas Hoult (“Renfield”), as her husband Emperor Peter III. The third, and now final, season premiered over three months ago. The dramedy was a critical favorite and well received among fans since premiering in 2020. The show has received several Emmy nominations, winning Outstanding Period Costumes last year. Disney is facing another lawsuit from investors, alleging the company is hiding streaming losses. The suit, filed on August 23rd, 2023, list Disney, current CEO Bob Iger, and former CEO Bob Chapek as defendants. The main allegation is that the company has given misleading statements and/or omissions regarding the actual financial state of Disney+. “To conceal these adverse facts, defendants engaged in a fraudulent scheme designed to hide the extent of Disney+ losses and to make the growth trajectory of Disney+ subscribers appear sustainable and 2024 Disney+ targets appear achievable when they were not,” the shareholder claims. Ridley Scott’s upcoming project with Apple, “Napoleon,” was almost four-and-a-half hours long! The official runtime has been cut down to trim 158 minutes. Scott himself says what was left on the cutting room floor was a “fantastic” over 4-hour cut. We’d like to ask, why didn’t they consider turning the project into a miniseries?!
