“John Wick” is back, yet again! This time, as a planned continuation tv series from creator/director Chad Stahelski and film franchise star Keanu Reeves. It’ll reportedly be called “John Wick: The High Table.” Stahelski will direct the pilot of the series. “The High Table” will be theoretically set right after the events of “John Wick: Chapter 4.” Reeves is going to be a “hands-on producer,” but is NOT confirmed for the cast. We can expect to see other characters from the films, though. Co-creator Robert Levin (“Black Sails”) wrote the project, which will “not interfere” with the planned 5th installment…

Thank the Lords of Kobol. That reboot of Ronald D. Moore’s “Battlestar Galactica” (which of course was a reboot of the classic 1970s series) from Sam Esmail is reportedly finally dead in the water. Streaming service giant Netflix is once again gearing up to deliver during Geeked Week, a roll of out trailers, news, interviews, and other goodies from their upcoming shows and films. Specifically, ones like “The Sandman,” “Arcane,” “Squid Game,” “Wednesday,” “Avatar: The Last Airbender,” and “Stranger Things.” There was even a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it shot from the upcoming animated “Tomb Raider” series, too! The next chapter of DC Comics in feature films is one giant step closer to launch. Principal filming on DC Studios co-head James Gunn’s “Superman” has officially wrapped. It seems like only yesterday SAG-AFTRA, the labor union of Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists was on strike for fare wages, compensation, and other notable issues. In 2023, the guild authorized a strike against the AMPTP, which was the longest in their history at 118 days. On July 26, 2024 SAG-AFTRA authorized another strike, this time against all video game companies. When was the last time you thought about XBOX 360? Months? Years? Originally launched on November 22nd, 2005 in the states, this was THE gaming machine. Designed and built by Microsoft to be the next generation of consoles, the 360 was special. Yes, PlayStation had their entries, but this particular unit really set the tone of things to come. Yes, we’re still not fully over that incredible trailer for season 2 of Prime Video’s “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.” There was just SO MUCH to take in.
