At long last, LEGO has unveiled their first “The Legend of Zelda” set! Listed as a 2-in-1, the Great Deku Tree is pretty awesome. Director George Miller has plans. This shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone who has followed the filmmaker’s multi-decade career. But he has plans for like, RIGHT NOW. As in, what comes next after “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.” Miller has, for years, teased another post-apocalyptic prequel story. It’s always sad when a “Star Trek” series ends it’s run. Even more so when it feels like the show in question finally found it’s footing, right at the end. The great David Lynch is teasing something. We’re not sure what, we’re not sure why, but we DO know when. We are very sad to report the passing of a true legend in the music world. Richard M. Sherman, arguably best known for his decades of compositions for the Walt Disney Company, has passed away.The two-time Oscar winner wrote some of the most iconic pieces of Disney music, along with his brother Robert B. Sherman (who passed away in 2012). Atomic Monster’s own James Wan (“The Conjuring,” “Aquaman”) is looking to reboot something. Not that big of a surprise considering how many of the popular franchises are getting the once-again treatment. But what IS kind of exciting about his particular plan is the direction he wants to go in. Classic tv series “The Munsters” has known it’s fair share of reboot attempts. There was a comedy attempt in 2017, Bryan Fuller’s doomed “Mockingbird Lane” series pilot, and more recently, Rob Zombie’s 2022 film. But this time, the take is going in a “darker” direction. This just in- from “Star Trek: Picard” to Marvel Studios, Terry Matalas is boldly going forward with a new fandom-centric series. Matalas will reportedly takeover showrunning duties on the now resurrected series focused on Paul Bettany’s “Avengers” character Vision.We don’t know much more than Marvel eyeing a 2026 release for the show on Disney+.
