One of the things we’re hoping to see someday when the world gets back to a relatively normal operating style is Universal Studios Japan upcoming Super Nintendo World theme park! Every single photo, video, and press release about it gets us even more excited for it. We can’t really blame the park for pushing opening day back, all things considered, so we’re pleased to report the new date of February 4th, 2021. The opening of the Osaka, Japan theme park will now coincide with the park’s 20th anniversary celebration.

This is news we are torn to report about, because Amazon has announced that “The Expanse” has been renewed for a 6th season, but- it will the last for the science fiction series. The other big news with this announcement is that Cas Anvar, who has been accused of various degrees of harassment and abusive behavior by multiple women, will not be returning to the series for season 6. Co-CEOs and Co-Founders of Alcon Television Group (Executive Producers of “The Expanse”) Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson said of the news: “From the moment we committed to bringing this show to life…
Imagine you’re on your regular walk through the busy streets of Toronto, Canada, and suddenly A SINKHOLE OPENS under your feet- filled with some strange, alien neon green glowing liquid. Something out of “Ghostbusters?” “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?” We’re not sure, but it’s certainly disconcerting. You can see Daily Mail’s coverage here, and you’ve REALLY got to see the photos, because it’s just disturbing enough to really make you worry.
We hope you’re caught up on the most recent episode of Disney+’s “Star Wars” spinoff series “The Mandalorian” because this article will talk about certain moments that happened in “Chapter 12: The Siege.”Leave it to high end specialty retailer Williams Sonoma to offer an item from a recent episode of “The Mandalorian,” but if you’re looking for a place to get your reptilian hands on some teal macarons, we’ve got some good news for you. In “The Mandalorian” season 2 episode 3, “The Siege,” Baby Yoda spends some time in a class with younglings, and ends up stealing some pretty…
This just in- it would appear that Ken Jennings, highest-earning American game show contestant of all time, will indeed be taking over hosting duties of long-running ABC series “Jeopardy,” following the death of Alex Trebek. Jennings holds the record for the longest winning streak on the game show with 74 wins. Trebek sadly lost his battle with cancer earlier this month, and a flurry of guessing who would be taking over hosting duties included Jennings on the top of everyone’s list. He actually joined “Jeopardy” last year as a consulting producer. EP Mike Richards said in a statement of the news: “Alex…
We understand that the holidays are going to be EXTREMELY different this year. This is something we accepted months ago, and have been trying to make the best of it by planning to shop small, and support some of our creative friends with their wares and offerings. Nerdbot has been putting together several different gift guides which you’ll see roll out in the next few days. They’ll cover different areas, like gifts for kids, gamers, and so forth. This particular list is one compiled of items that will make even the most difficult to shop for nerd a breeze, and…
We knew it was a rather likely thing, but HBO has just OFFICIALLY greenlit a live-action tv series based on the extremely popular (for good reason!) video game franchise from Naughty Dog- “The Last of Us.”What we know about the series so far is that Craig Mazin (creator of hit HBO limited series “Chernobyl”) will write and executive produce, along with the writer and creative director of “The Last of Us” video games, Neil Druckmann. Executive Vice President of HBO Programming Francesca Orsi said of the news: “Craig and Neil are visionaries in a league of their own. With them at…
This just in (and hasn’t been confirmed yet)- but it would appear that maybe, just maybe, Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux have possibly been tapped to write the script for “Deadpool 3.”You’d probably know The Molyneux Sisters best for their writing and executive producing on long-running animated Fox favorite “Bob’s Burgers.”There are still a LOT of unknowns about a possible 3 Ryan Reynolds-starring “Deadpool” film, especially after the full Walt Disney acquisition of 20th Century Fox and their subsidiaries. But, the fandom is there and vocal, so it’s only a matter of time, really. Story is obviously developing, and we’ll let…
If there’s one actor we adore in pretty much every single thing she does, it’s Katee Sackhoff. Most fans first became aware of her during the reimagined “Battlestar Galactica” series where she played Kara “Starbuck” Thrace, pilot and general badass. She’s appeared in numerous tv series and films, and voiced characters across video games, and animated series. In fact, the character Sackhoff voiced in season 4 of “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” cartoon, Bo-Katan Kryze, is now a part of the live-action galaxy far, far away as of last week’s Bryce Dallas Howard-directed episode of “The Mandalorian” on Disney+. We…
We are sorry to share the news that “Black Lightning,” part of the DC Comics’ based Berlanti-verse on The CW will be coming to an end. The silver lining here is that the upcoming 4th season will still air, but as the final season. This news comes as a surprise, as earlier this week, The CW announced a “Black Lightning” spinoff series starring Jordan Calloway, about his character “Painkiller.” A planted episode, which will launch the character’s spinoff, is coming in the 4th season. “Black Lightning” executive producer and showrunner Salim Akil will be writing, directing and ep’ing “Painkiller.” You…
