We understand when an actor has trouble recalling the intricate details of a part they played over 20 years ago, we really do. But to forget out of hand that you were in a “Star Wars” movie?!Maybe that’s a little unfair, as Keira Knightly *DOES* remember being in “Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace,” but not specifically who she played. As the actress told ComingSoon: “Wait a minute, who did I play? Was I not Padme? I was Sabe, ok. I think I was 12 when I did it, and it came out and I saw it the year…

The Denver Broncos filled their Empire Field at Mile High with cardboard cutouts of “South Park” characters during their Sunday game. This was kind of a brilliant thing to do.As you may have noticed, in-person large scale events are still a really bad idea- until the public can actually follow mask guidelines and social distancing practices- so several sporting teams have found creative ways to include fans likenesses as cardboard cutouts in the stands. But the Broncos took it a step further by featuring all the citizens of South Park, Colorado. As you can see in the gallery from the…
Mondo unveils vinyl reissue of the iconic Daft Punk soundtrack for Disney’s “Tron: Legacy,” celebrating the film’s 10th anniversary.
This is one of those persistent rumors that just won’t go away, and we’re mostly ok with that. The iconic MI6 00-agent James Bond will theoretically be getting a new actor before too long, with Daniel Craig’s tenure being over after “No Time To Die,” the 25th installment in the franchise. Two of the most popular names that keep getting tossed into the mix are Idris Elba, and Henry Cavill. We’re not gonna lie, we like BOTH these choices a lot, and would love to see some actual color in the mix of Sir Ian Fleming’s creation. And, in a…
We are very pleased to share this first look teaser trailer at Netflix’s upcoming “Resident Evil” anime series, “Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness.” Obviously taking it’s cues from the iconic video game franchise, the first teaser raises more questions about what exactly the series will be about. Based on the Capcom video game franchise, Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is a horror series with a sci-fi twist. Coming 2021 only on Netflix. Yup. Stuff. Of. Nightmares. You can watch the teaser here.
We’re sure you can imagine our grimace face with this announcement from LA Comic Con….that the event is planning to have an actual honest-to-goodness in person convention in Los Angeles, CA this December. The world-wide pandemic is still ongoing, and we’re just baffled by this decision. Here’s all the information that came in the email this morning: You can check out their Facebook event listing there.
No shortage of casting stories today, as Warner Bros. Pictures is apparently talking to actor Aldis Hodge about donning the wings and cowl of Hawkman for upcoming DC Comics superhero film “Black Adam.” Hodge recently appeared in “The Invisible Man” for Blumhouse, as well as notable roles in “Straight Outta Compton,” “Hidden Figures,” and “What Men Want.” Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will star as title character and antihero Black Adam, Noah Centineo will play Atom Smasher. Jaume Collet-Serra, who is helming “Jungle Cruise” for Disney (which also stars Johnson), will direct “Black Adam” from a script by Rory Haines and Sohrab…

Not a shocker- Amazon is highly aware of how popular their series “The Boys” is, and judging by how strong season 2 premiered for the digital streamer, a spinoff is a no-brainer. Yesterday, word started to circulate that Amazon had indeed begun fasttracking development on a “The Boys” spinoff, which will reportedly center around a young adult superheroes (or “supes”) college in America that is run by Vought International. Variety, who broke the news, calls it “irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing…
