DC Studios co-heads James Gunn and Peter Safran just gave an update on the slate of in-development and upcoming projects. Some of these were surprising, and some were unsurprising. One of our favorite surprise shows of the last few years was “Jury Duty.” If you haven’t seen it, we don’t want to ruin it. Just know, it’s the kind of charming and ridiculous feel-good comedy that will make you feel better after watching it. A piece of heroic history from the galaxy far, far away has been found, and will be going up for auction. We’ve had a love-hate-hopeful relationship with Amazon Prime Video’s “The Wheel of Time.” With such a LARGE amount of source material to pull from for the adaptation, season 1 left us scratching our heads. Why even call it “The Wheel of Time” with so many changes? (No complaints about casting though, almost 100% satisfaction across the Ajas and beyond.) We are so delighted to share the news that Nickelodeon has indeed greenlit a brand new animated series in the world of “Avatar: The Last Airbender.” The series, which continues to grow in fandom and acclaim, is actually celebrating it’s 20th anniversary this year. This just in-After yet another massive bidding war over the future of the MI6 agent with a license to kill, a new home for James Bond has been revealed. We’re not really surprised, honestly. Considering how long MGM held the reigns of the franchise and everything.
