Sounds like Sony’s upcoming live-action adaptation of “He-Man” is once again suffering setbacks. We’re not rightly sure it’ll ever happen at this point. The newest twist in the fate of Eternia comes with the exit of Noah Centineo, who had been cast to play Prince Adam aka He-Man. According to Centineo’s publicist via Collider, Noah has left the project. “He is no longer attached to that project,” a representative for Centineo told Collider on Thursday, though no reason was given. We almost wonder if, as has been stated elsewhere, the choice to exit “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe”…
We are very pleased to report the news that Finn Wittrock (“American Horror Story”)has been tapped to bring “Green Lantern” to life for HBO Max. He’ll be playing Guy Gardner, one of the numerous Green Lanterns in DC Comics’ universe. We’ll also see the very first Green Lantern in 1941, secretly gay FBI agent Alan Scott, then to 1984 with Guy Gardner and half-alien Bree Jatra. There have been teases of additional characters and even some new ones appearing in the show too. HBO Max has already ordered 10 episodes of the show. “Green Lantern” will be co-written and executive…

We know 2021’s “Mortal Kombat” didn’t have Johnny Cage, but SOMEONE named Ryan Reynolds wanted in on the fan casting hype.
We are are very pleased to report that Amazon has ordered 2 more seasons of “Invincible.” The animated series is based on a comic of the same name by Robert Kirkman. Kirkman said of the news: “I’m extremely thankful to Amazon for the support and dedication they’ve put behind Invincible. The comic book is truly a love letter to a genre that Cory (Walker) and I grew up reading and loving, and it’s been a gratifying journey to watch our characters come to life again through the animated series. We’re beyond excited to continue this story for at least two…
While we’re not really sure why Marvel Studios picked “Black Widow” to celebrate National Super Hero Day, we’re happy to report on it. This new featurette released earlier today focuses on Natasha Romanoff, played in the MCU by Scarlett Johansson. Fans can look forward to finally seeing the feature film when it hits select theaters and Disney+ on July 9th, 2021.Maybe we’ll FINALLY find out what the hell happened with Nat and Clint in Budapest.
Earlier this morning, DC Comics announced that their virtual fanfest experience will return this fall. Two-day event DC FanDome launched in 2020 in August. Part Warner Bros. Pictures showcase and part comic con, the streaming event was well received by fans. The first footage, images and casting confirmations for upcoming DC Comics properties across film, tv, and more were revealed during FanDome, and we have to assume 2021’s event will be no different. We’re assuming a full schedule will be released later. DC FanDome returns October 16th, 2021.
On Wednesdays, we wait impatiently for Amazon Prime Video to drop a “The Wheel of Time” tease. This morning we were immediately excited by the pre-10am tease, a notable quote of Moiraine’s warder, al’Lan Mandragoran. Shortly thereafter, a super quick clip of the warrior and Malkieri heir played by Daniel Henney was released. Based on the novels created by Robert Jordan (which were later finished by Brandon Sanderson following Jordan’s death), this epic high fantasy adventure has been a favorite of the literary community since it’s first publishing in 1990. Rafe Judkins, self professed and often proven HUGE fan of the source material is…
