This just in, it would appear that Harrison Ford is keeping with tradition. The 78-year old actor has reportedly suffered an injury to his person while filming the newest installment in a famous franchise. According to a report, Ford injured his shoulder, and will need to have it evaluated.
James Mangold, who is directing the yet-untitled “Indiana Jones 5” film, will continue to film without the star.
A statement from a Disney rep per Variety read:
“In the course of rehearsing for a fight scene, Harrison Ford sustained an injury involving his shoulder. Production will continue while the appropriate course of treatment is evaluated, and the filming schedule will be reconfigured as needed in the coming weeks.”
If you’ll recall, back when JJ Abrams was directing “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” Ford was injured while filming on the Millennium Falcon set.
We hope Harrison makes a full recovery. Because after all, it’s not the years, it’s the mileage.
