Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.

Back in 1988, a little film called “Twins” hit theaters. This Ivan Reitman-directed flick stared Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito as twin brothers. While the unlikely pairing hasn’t really held up by modern standards (Rotten Tomatoes), it has remained a guilty pleasure for some. The news this morning is that the long-gestating sequel is actually happening. Called “Triplets,” this revisit will bring back both Schwarzenegger and DeVito. Joining this time as the third (and presumably long-lost) brother is Tracy Morgan! While speaking with Deadline, Reitman commented about the history of this sequel.“Twins was quite successful, and some years after, this whole thing…

It’s officially Spooky Season, and that means the return of Spirit Halloween stores across the nation. We’ll admit, the seasonal shopping options (at least in parts of California) haven’t had much to offer. A visit to Target, CostPlus, and Joann resulted in nothing more than candy and pumpkin-flavored treats. Not that we’re complaining about anything pumpkin flavored, but where are the decorations!? The skeletons, the pumpkins, or the spiders?! True, Home Depot has an AMAZING collection of large-scale outdoor items, but we’re missing the Martha Stewart stuff. Enter this enterprising soul playing “Animal Crossing: New Horizons,” who knew we needed…
