This just in-after many years and rumors, it would appear an actual live-action adaptation of popular video game franchise “Gears of War” is happening. Today marks the 16th anniversary of the title’s first releasing, so what better time to announce it? Netflix reportedly has partnered with Canadian game developer The Coalition to adapt the “Gears of War” franchise into a film. The movie will be followed by an adult animated series. This just in-HBO has officially cancelled science fiction series “Westworld.” Following the fairly mixed reviewed season 4, showrunners and co-creators Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan seemed confident a 5th season was likely. “We always planned for a fifth and final season,” Nolan said during NYCC. “We are still in conversations with the network. We very much hope to make them.”“Jonah and I have always had an ending in mind that we hope to reach. This just in-looks like newly minted Twitter CEO Elon Musk is having a bad day. After firing a VERY LARGE portion of the company this morning, there’s apparently an issue with his Twitter account.As of 10am (PST), his account has been suspended. Looks like a large group of disgruntled former Twitter employees have also filed a class action lawsuit against Musk. The suit alleges Musk broke federal and California state law by not giving enough notice for mass layoffs. (Which is true- legally, Twitter needed to give 60 days notice for large-scale layoffs.) We have some bad news, party members. While it’s not a HUGE move or delay, it is a release date pushback. Paramount’s upcoming “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves” live-action film has a new release date. Originally slated for March 3rd 2023, it’ll now hit March 31st.
