Yesterday news broke that Alfonso Ribeiro filed a suit against the makers of Fortnite for using his iconic dance from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Today we get similar news of a lawsuit put in place by “Backpack kid” for the rights to his dance as well.  Fortnite released an enhancement for in game characters that would give them the ability to do the “Carlton Dance”. In an attempt to end the world’s longest debate over whether Die Hard is a Christmas movie or not, FOX has released a new trailer for the film. The video is titled, Die Hard – The Greatest Christmas Story Ever Told – 20th Century FOX. Check it out here. The trailer tries to re-frame the story by playing up the Christmas aspects which is really only a small percentage of the movie. 29 year old Missouri man, David Berry Jr. is one of three men who have been incarcerated for the illegal taking of deer. We’re talking “several hundred deer” in the span of three years. He has been sentenced to one year in jail plus 120 days for violating fire arms probation in another county. According to Lawrence County Prosecuting Attorney Don Trotter the illegal poaching that took place happened “mostly at night and only for their heads, leaving the bodies to waste.” Hunting for game is nothing new but this case is a matter of extremely gross misconduct. Netflix announced earlier this year that they would be making a 10 episode prequel to Jim Henson’s The Dark Crystal. Mark Hamill, Caitriona Balfe, Andy Samberg are the newest additions to Netflix’s new prequel series. Mark Hamill is best known for his work on Star Wars as well as his voice work in Batman the Animated Series as the Joker. Earlier this year we were all kind of besides ourselves when we learned that Funimation and Crunchyroll would be parting ways. Earlier today NBC started a 24 hour live broadcast of Holiday entertainment. Part of the programming was Terry Crews painting in a Bob Ross fashion. Earlier this year DBZ Fans were blessed with a shoe line released by Adidas. There were to be seven different styles of shoe with the most recently confirmed design being Shenron. This design will be released December 22nd at 7am PST, so set your alarm! There will be a black and gold version available as well inspired by Super Shenron. After many companies competed for the rights to Peanuts they have finally landed a deal with Apple/DHX Media to produce new content.  DHX will be working closely with Peanuts Worldwide to create new shorts, shows, and movies of the beloved characters. Peanuts Worldwide recently signed a deal with NASA to create STEM programming for children. They are intending on inspiring and educating children about space exploration.
