I have a need sometimes to sit back and watch a good romantic comedy. Lucky for me Netflix exists and there is an unending que of what I can watch along with recommendations for when my brain is dead. Kissing Booth was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. News coming out of the New York Toy Fair is that we will be getting another My Little Pony movie soon! Well, 2021 soon. The movie is to be 3D/CGI and fully animated. There is still no word on plot or whether or not it will be Generation 4 or 5. General consensus among fans is that it will be Generation 5 since the show is supposed to start airing in 2020. Earlier today we released an article that used Forbes as a source stating that Margo Robbie would most likely not be in the upcoming Suicide Squad Reboot. We now have more information from them stating that they were misinformed and that she may still be featured in the film. In a press release this morning Netflix and Hasbro have partnered with Rooster teeth to bring us a new Transformers series War For Cybertron. The series is expected to launch worldwide in 2020 with a fresh animation style that “presents the transformers like never before.” Producing will be Rooster Teeth and Polygon Studios will be serving as the animation studio. Transformers veteran FJ DeSanto (Transformers: Titans Return, Transformers: Power of the Primes) will serve as showrunner on the series with several contributing writers, including George Krstic (Megas XLR), Gavin Hignight (Transformers: Cyberverse), and Brandon Easton (Agent Carter, Transformers: Rescue Bots).…

With the new Ghostbusters movie being worked on it would make sense to start seeing a push for new toys. News coming out of the New York Toy fair is that we can expect to see an “Ectotron” soon on the market! The 7″ Ecto-1 will be able to change into the Transformer version in about 22 steps and will come with a non transforming slimer. The new toy will cost around $40 and will be an in-store exclusive to Gamestop. Preorders are live for the figure at Hasbropulse.com with an expected ship date of July 7th, 2019.
