Apple TV+  has released the first trailer for its live-action adaptation of the beloved children’s book, “The Velveteen Rabbit.” The book was penned by Margery Williams with illustrations by William Nicholson, and has been a staple of children’s literature since its release in 1922. In possibly one of the cutest metal videos ever, Ozzy Osbourne’s 1-year-old granddaughter, Maple, goes nuts for her “papa” performing on TV.  The footage shows Maple in the living room with her father, Jack Osbourne, behind her. An earthquake has uncovered a giant, colorful snakehead from the Aztec Empire, buried underneath a law school in Mexico City. It dates back more than 500 years when the Aztecs controlled the area, and it was part of the capital of Tenochtitlan.  This amazing discovery happened after a 7.6 earthquake struck Mexico City on September 19th, 2022. The quake caused some serious damage and changed the topography of the area, uncovering the long-buried snakehead. Lots of people use skulls and various severed body parts to decorate for Halloween. While most of these remains are manufactured plastic, one thrift store in Flordia found out it had the real deal. On November 4th, a customer at a thift store in Fort Myers noticed something odd among the Halloween decor. The shopper, who is an anthropologist, realized one of the skulls on the shelf looked a bit too real, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office. The live-action adaptation of “How to Train Your Dragon” has joined the list of titles having their release dates pushed back. These changes are due to the AMPTP refusing to reach a fair deal with SAG-AFTRA, who’s strike has reached the 113-day mark. Universal and DreamWorks Animation announced the live-action “How to Train Your Dragon” is moving from a March 14th, 2025 release to June 13th, 2025. Dark Sky Films just acquired the North American rights to the werewolf thriller “Blackout” at the American Film Market, with Yellow Veil Pictures handling worldwide rights. The upcoming movie is written and directed by independent horror veteran Larry Fessenden. “Blackout” centers around a fine arts painter who is convinced that he is a werewolf wreaking havoc on a small American town under the full moon.
