A Dairy Queen in Phoenix, Arizona had a sculpture of a large red spoon stolen on March 25th. Since this is the only location in the state with an oversized version of the chain’s signature red plastic spoons, it is a popular spot for Instagram photos. Once word got out about its theft, locals and internet sleuths alike were on a hunt to get it back. Over the weekend, Phoenix police released surveillance footage of the theft. Filmmaker Eli Roth’s long-awaited turkey day-themed horror movie “Thanksgiving” is finally coming to fruition! AMC Networks’ series adaptation of “Interview With the Vampire” is undergoing a massive casting change. Bailey Bass, who played teenage vampire Claudia in season 1, will not be returning for season 2. Two-time “RuPaul’s Drag Race” champion Jinkx Monsoon is joining the cast of the classic sci-fi series “Doctor Who.” The singer, actress, and drag performer will be the newest addition to Russell T Davies’ “Whoniverse.” They will be starring alongside Ncuti Gatwa as the Doctor, Yasmin Finney (“Heartstopper”), and the return of David Tennant and Catherine Tate. Hey, all you cool cats and kittens. Carole and Howard Baskin will be selling the land from their Florida-based Big Cat Rescue operation. A rescue made famous/infamous by the 2020 Netflix docuseries, “Tiger King.” According to the rescue’s website, they will be moving most of their big cats to Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge. Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge, an accredited sanctuary based in Arkansas, also confirmed this via a Facebook post. The refuge will soon be taking in 35 cats from closing shelters.
