Director Todd Phillips finished shooting “Joker: Folie à Deux,” the much-anticipated sequel to his 2019 film “Joker.” In celebration, he posted an announcement accompanied by photos of Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga in character. Joseph Gordon-Levitt (“Inception”), Shailene Woodley (“The Descendants”), and Richard Madden (“Game of Thrones”) are set to star in Prime Video’s new thriller “Killer Heat.” The new movie is based on Jo Nesbø’s 2021 short story, “The Jealousy Man.” It will center around twin brothers (Madden) caught in a violent love triangle on a remote Greek island. A Dairy Queen in Phoenix, Arizona had a sculpture of a large red spoon stolen on March 25th. Since this is the only location in the state with an oversized version of the chain’s signature red plastic spoons, it is a popular spot for Instagram photos. Once word got out about its theft, locals and internet sleuths alike were on a hunt to get it back. Over the weekend, Phoenix police released surveillance footage of the theft. Filmmaker Eli Roth’s long-awaited turkey day-themed horror movie “Thanksgiving” is finally coming to fruition! Hey, all you cool cats and kittens. Carole and Howard Baskin will be selling the land from their Florida-based Big Cat Rescue operation. A rescue made famous/infamous by the 2020 Netflix docuseries, “Tiger King.” According to the rescue’s website, they will be moving most of their big cats to Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge. Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge, an accredited sanctuary based in Arkansas, also confirmed this via a Facebook post. The refuge will soon be taking in 35 cats from closing shelters.
