DC Comics tentpole hero Batman was honored today with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Which, oddly enough, also earned the Caped Crusader a Guinness World Record title for being the first superhero to be granted a star by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. The rumor mill is working overtime about HBO’s upcoming “Harry Potter” reboot series. Folk heroes truly do live on forever. Amazon-owned MGM+ has just greenlit a new drama series based on the classic Robin Hood legend. The 10-part series is being developed and written by Jonathan English (“Librarians: The Next Chapter”) and showrunner John Glenn (“SEAL Team”), for Lionsgate Television.
