The AI-generated song “Heart On My Sleeve” is taking the internet by storm, which is cool and terrifying depending on how you look at it. This new track uses clone voices of Drake and The Weeknd, and has them throwing some serious shade at singer/actress Selena Gomez. The Weeknd and Gomez dated from 2015 to 2017, and the song accuses her of infidelity. Though, the creator of the song has been fairly transparent that it is fake. On April 15th TikToker ghostwriter977 posted a video of themselves with a sheet and sunglasses covering their face. [writer’s note: it looks like…

Sony Pictures has confirmed the fifth installment of the “Insidious” franchise will be called “Insidious: The Red Door.” The first two films were directed by James Wan (“The Conjuring”) and written by Leigh Whannell (“The Invisible Man”). They centered around the Lambert family, and their terrifying struggles with a supernatural realm known as “The Further.” The next two installments are prequels, mostly revolving around demonologist Elise Rainier, played by Lin Shaye. Both films are also written by Whannell, who even made their directorial debut with the third movie. “Insidious: The Red Door,” is written by Scott Teems (“Halloween Kills”), based…
It’s no secret Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson are BFFs. The duo announced in March that they would be working together on a new Apple TV+ comedy from David West Read. The 10-episode series will have them playing fictionalized versions of themselves, while them and their families live on a ranch. McConaughey revealed on the Kelly Ripa “Let’s Talk Off Camera” podcast the show is called “Brother From Another Mother.” In that same interview, he also revealed the title might be a bit more on the nose than they initially thought. Apparently, McConaughey believes Harrelson may actually be related to…
Next month, Pete Davidson (“The King of Staten Island”) will be returning to his comedic stomping grounds at NBC’s Studio 8H. He will be a guest host on “Saturday Night Live.” The comedian was part of the legendary sketch show’s cast from 2014 until 2022. But his return may strike some as odd, since Davidson recently said on the “Real Ones With Jon Bernthal” podcast he found his time on the show “confusing.” Mostly due to him and his love life becoming the butt of a lot of the show’s jokes. “When it’s your own show, and I’ll be sitting…
Warner Bros. Discovery is wasting no time in loading up its streaming platform, MAX. The service launches on May 23rd, and will replace HBO Max, with added content from Discovery+. One of the big projects announced is a new tv series based on “The Conjuring” horror franchise. Plot details are still under wraps, and there is no writer attached currently. The series will “continue the story established in the feature films.” Which doesn’t really narrow it down too much, considering the eight films in the series all cover very different subjects in a shared universe. Three revolve around demonologists Ed and…
FOX will be sending celebrities to Mars (kinda) in a new competition series. Aptly titled “Stars on Mars,” the show will be hosted by none other than “Star Trek’s” Captain James Tiberius Kirk, William Shatner! Fitting, since Shatner recently became the oldest man to reach space while he served as mission control on Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin ride. “Stars on Mars” will send a group of celebrities to a mock red planet where they must live, eat, sleep, strategize, and get along. While they aren’t actually going into space, they will be living in a similar situation to a group…
HBO Max and Discovery+ merger is forming a streaming platform called MAX. It will be launching in the U.S. on May 23rd, and will replace the HBO Max streaming service. Warner Bros. Discovery, among several big announcements, confirmed a new spinoff of “The Big Bang Theory” from series creator Chuck Lorre will be one of the “flagship” shows. The original sitcom ran for 12 seasons on CBS. Its first spinoff, “Young Sheldon,” is currently in its 6th season. Not much is known about the new series’ plot at this time. The new series will take place in the same universe…
Filmmakers Isa Mazzei and Daniel Goldhaber, the duo behind “Cam” and “How to Blow up a Pipeline,” have started shooting a remake of “Faces of Death.” The relaunch of this shocking franchise is being backed by Legendary Entertainment. The cast includes Dacre Montgomery (“Stranger Things”), Barbie Ferreira (“Euphoria”), and Josie Totah (“Saved by the Bell”). The original “Faces of Death” was written and directed by John Allan Schwartz and released in 1978. Where it almost immediately became infamous for its shocking, and supposedly real, depictions of graphic violence. While movies that were essentially just clip after clip of real-life atrocities…
Filmmaking collective Radio Silence is being tapped for a new Universal Monster movie. While little is known about which monster they may be working with, it’s currently rumored to be either “Dracula’s Daughter” or the “Bride of Frankenstein.” The former being based on an earlier report the project at one point was titled “Dracula’s Daughter.” It is also assumed this film will follow Universal’s recent trend of films like “The Invisible Man” and “Renfield,” giving more modern takes on the companies’ classic monsters. Radio Silence is made up of filmmakers Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillett, and Chad Villell. The collective has been…
Dethklok, the real-life version of the cartoon band from Adult Swim series “Metalocalypse” and Japanese kawaii-metal band Babymetal will be co-headlining a North American tour. With support from guitarist Jason Richardson, who has played in bands like Chelsea Grin, Born of Osiris, and All Shall Perish. Affectionately called the “Babyklok tour,” it’s probably the most unique lineup we’ve seen in a while. Babyklok will be Dethklok’s first tour in 11 years and Babymetal hasn’t toured North America since 2019. This will be Babymetal’s first U.S. performance with their newly-appointed third member, Momometal. This tour was also announced the same day…
