There is a legal battle between CBS and Sony over the rights to distribute the syndicated game shows “Jeopardy!” and “Wheel of Fortune.” On April 10th, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Kevin Brazile issued a tentative ruling for the case. It denied CBS’ bid to temporarily block Sony from assuming distribution of the long-running series. “Sony can begin distributing the Shows and need not deliver episodes to CBS,” Brazile’s order states. “We are gratified by the Court’s ruling today and we look forward to distributing our shows, Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune, to the 200+ stations that license and count…

The 1939 film “The Wizard of Oz” starring the late Judy Garland is an undisputed classic. The Las Vegas Sphere is partnering with Warner Bros. Discovery, Google Cloud, and tech company Magnopus to capture the “visionary spirit” of this legendary movie with a special presentation. But, they’ll be using AI for the experience. “The Wizard of Oz at Sphere” will use Google’s AI cloud and infrastructure to “reimagine” the film. The movie was recorded on a three-strip Technicolor 35mm motion picture camera, which was state-of-the-art at the time. “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” mainstay Mariska Hargitay is making her feature film directorial debut with the HBO documentary “My Mom Jane.” The film has the Emmy-winning actress exploring the life of her mother Jayne Mansfield, who she lost when she was very young. “My Mom Jane” seeks to have Hargitay know, understand, and embrace her mother for the first time. Last month ended a lengthy legal dispute over who controls the rights to the legendary “James Bond” franchise. Legendary actor Alan Cumming is coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as Nightcrawler in “Avengers: Doomsday.” Cumming originally portrayed the blue-skinned heavily tattooed superhero in 2003’s “X2: X-Men United.” According to the actor, the makeup team on “Doomsday” has really nailed the intricate makeup that the character requires.  “Isn’t it nuts? Netflix has just released a full trailer for its upcoming action thriller, “Havoc.” Written and directed by Gareth Evans (“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”), it stars Tom Hardy (“Mad Max: Fury Road,” “Venom: The Last Dance”) and Forest Whitaker (“Andor”). The movie follows a bruised detective (Hardy) who must fight his way through the criminal underworld after a drug deal has gone wrong. Michael Joseph Branham, an alleged stalker of actress Scarlett Johansson (“Black Widow”), was arrested in New York City on April 2nd. Police were alerted to him making threats indicating he would explode “a bomb in Saturday Night Live audience.” Branham targeted the SNL studio since Johansson’s husband, Colin Jost, is a writer/actor on the long-running sketch comedy series. We have some… hot news out of Anaheim, California. On April 4th, a fire broke out in the Pixar Pals parking lot at Disneyland. While the blaze was initially contained to a Kia Sportage, the fire soon spread to other vehicles.  The Anaheim Fire & Rescue Department responded just before 10 AM after receiving reports about a burning car in the parking structure. Pop Culture icon Dolly Parton has teamed up with Good American to introduce a limited-edition denim collection, called Dolly’s Joleans.
