Nightmarish Baby Doll Version of Joaquin Phoenix Joker Appears for Sale

The internet is full of tales and pictures of bootleg merchandise for popular intellectual properties. Some of them can range from the almost passable forgery to the outright bizarrely inappropriate. Regardless of the category they fall into, they’re all completely unlicensed, with the rights holders not being associated with the product. So, what would happen if someone went completely off the rails with something that was unlicensed yet unnervingly well-designed in the worst possible way? Enter the JK Baby, a Joker baby doll based on Joaquin Phoenix‘s Oscar-winning role.

Yeah, it’s a baby version of the Joker as played by Joaquin Phoenix… well in this case, by a baby version of Phoenix. He even comes with all the standard baby doll accessories; a nightmarish clown mask, cigarette, and a revolver. I have a very strong feeling that neither DC Comics or Warner Bros. approved of this doll, though I highly suspect if the actual Joker were real, he’d love this to tears.

Despite my best efforts, I was unable to find any information about the company that made this figure, ADD Toys. I found other product listings for them on online auction sites, but nothing about the company itself. As for the specific Joker doll, there are multiple different listings for them on eBay, that just seem to duplicate information from page to page, seller to seller. All of the sellers also seem to be from China, which is a country notorious for bootleg merchandise.

Horrifying as it is, if the product is actually anything like those pictures, then credit where credit is due for making something so actually chilling. That being said, I wouldn’t buy one. I’ve seen enough horror stories about killer dolls to know how this one ends up. That’s not to say that this doll is cursed…but yeah, it’s probably cursed. You’re better off spending your money on Frogurt. Unless of course the Frogurt is also cursed.
