So when Amazon started it was no wonder it was a quick hit. You don’t have to go anywhere and things are delivered right to your door. You can’t beat that and avoiding the crowds is great. Emily McGuire’s favorite thing in the world was getting these boxes delivered to her door. So when her birthday rolled around her husband Waylon thought he would semi prank her and get her a cake that looked exactly like a shipped box.
This cake was complete with edible shipping label and wrapper. It was pretty much the highlight of her day and was all thanks to her husbands creative mind, and Sweet Dreams Bakery of Dunn. The joke was put in place because Emily gets about 2-3 packages from the online retailer a week, which isn’t crazy if you think about all the necessities you can get and free shipping.
The cake was chocolate and costs about $50. It took Trena Norris eight hours to complete. The label and tape were made of sugar and wafer paper which makes for an incredibly yummy treat.
It just goes to show that when you are married and have fun with eachother that the possibilities of surprise are endless. And we hope that Waylon can top this cake this year! Good luck!
