Dave’s Hot Chicken has teamed up with Marvel Animation’s X-Men ’97 to celebrate the show’s 2nd season. During this limited-time collaboration, fans can get a special X-Men-themed meal. And who doesn’t love a good snack while watching their favorite show?

Starting July 1st and while supplies last, Dave’s Hot Chicken x X-Men ’97 Meal is a #4 with either a slider or bites and fries. The meal also comes with a blind-bag collectible figurine featuring Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, or Jean Grey. But the fun doesn’t stop there; the Dave’s app can unlock limited-edition pins and exclusive comic content while supplies last.

    Why X-Men ’97?

While the partnership may seem odd to some, the company feels the show perfectly encapsulates its workers and customers. “Dave’s has always been built by people who are genuinely passionate about the things they love, whether that’s food, music, sports, or pop culture,” said Arman Oganesyan, Co-Founder and Chief Brand Officer of Dave’s Hot Chicken. “X-Men was a huge part of my childhood, especially Wolverine, and what makes X-Men ’97 so special is that it stayed true to what fans loved about the original. That’s something we relate to at Dave’s; celebrating something our team genuinely loves and creating an experience fans will be excited to be part of.”

“X-Men has always been about passionate fans, iconic characters, and bringing people together through great storytelling,” said Jim Bitticks, CEO of Dave’s Hot Chicken. “This collaboration lets us celebrate the return of X-Men ’97 in a way that’s uniquely Dave’s, through great food, collectibles, and an experience fans will want to share.”

The 1st episode of the 2nd season of X-Men ’97 hit Disney+ on July 1st. New episodes will premiere on the streamer each Wednesday.

The Dave’s Hot Chicken x X-Men ’97 Meal is available at participating locations while supplies last.
