Some people like to eat hot dogs with chips. Some people like to get wild and put chips onto their hot dog for an extra kick of flavor. Well, Pringles has decided to cut out the middle man, with the new Pringles Pop Dog Buns!

Pringles wants to put a new spin on the often plain and overlooked hot dog bun. The edible hot dog holders come in the company’s iconic can; this new line comes in 3 signature flavors.

    • Sour Cream & Onion – All the tangy, savory, and creamy flavors fans love, reimagined as a soft, potato-based bun.
    • BBQ – A little smoky with a touch of sweetness for a backyard barbecue flavor that perfectly complements any hot dog.
    • Honey Mustard – Blends the sweetness of honey and the tang of mustard for a bold, satisfying twist on your average bun.

    The Pop Dog Bun

This new limited line is part of Pringles’ “Once You Pop, The Pop Don’t Stop” campaign. “This summer we’re bringing the ‘Once You Pop’ experience to the center of the plate! We wanted to take something everyone knows and completely flip it into an exciting new snackable experience,” said Mauricio Jenkins, Salty Snacks Brand & Content Lead, Mars Snacking North America. “With our new ‘Once You Pop’ campaign, our mission is to continually deliver the unexpected to our fans, which is why we’re reimagining ordinary, bland buns and transforming them into an extraordinarily flavorful experience fit for our iconic cans. Trust me, that extra Pringles flavor truly makes these buns pop because… Once You Pop, The Pop Dogs Don’t Stop.”

Anyone interested in trying Pringles Pop Dog Buns will get their chance on July 15th, in honor of National Hot Dog Day. These will be available for free with the purchase of a Pringles Three-Pack, while supplies last. You can place your order here.
