Geek Grind Coffee has a great blend called Frost Giant that is made to be cold brewed. It has flavors of Dark Chocolate, Brown Sugar and bright orange citrus. The blend is created from the slopes of Darien, Columbia and is carefully created to come alive during the steeping process. It will leave you satisfied if it is your first drink of the day and energized throughout the whole morning.
Never did I ever think that making my own cold brew could be so satisfying. Typically when I go to a quick fix place for my coffee I order a cold brew so I figured it may be about time to get my own cold brew system. After trying Frost Giant I was completely hooked. The taste is amazing and you can absolutely drink this black. When you add a little creamer it tastes like literal heaven. This blend smells amazing too. It’s probably not fair to single this one out as all of the Geek Grind blends hold a special place in my cupboard but after grinding this for the cold brewer it just smells amazing. Adding water to it and watching it seep for 12-24 hours becomes painful because you want to taste it right away. If you want a strong cup you have to wait a full day, regular coffee strength you only need to wait 12 hours. Both ways to brew are great but if you need to get your fix quick I recommend going the 24 hour method. And it will last longer in your refrigerator because you need less to get your caffeine.
