Don’t you love it when a marketing campaign goes all out? Eli Roth’s upcoming movie Ice Cream Man is partnering with San Francisco-based ice cream company Humphry Slocombe on a new flavor. The Brain Freeze limited-edition ice cream that will be offered starting in August.

The Brain Freeze flavor is a “playful nod to classic bubblegum ice cream with a delightfully twisted twist.” Each scoop contains swirls of house-made strawberry jam. Adding a delicious dash of creepy to this nostalgic treat.
“We love creating ice cream that surprises people,” says Sean Vahey, co-founder of Humphry Slocombe, in a statement. “When ‘Ice Cream Man’ came along, we couldn’t resist making something that’s just the right amount of delicious and unsettling. Brain Freeze looks and tastes incredible, and is guaranteed to be the most fun you’ll have screaming for ice cream this summer.”
“It’s been a pleasure to work with Sean and his amazing team, combining two of my deepest passions: horror films and ice cream,” said Roth. “We wanted to create a flavor both sublime and scoopable, but also gruesome and gory. No matter what I suggested, their appetite for the red stuff not only matched mine but went above and beyond.”
All eight Humphry Slocombe Bay Area scoop shops will start selling the brain freeze starting August 7th. It can also be ordered for nationwide delivery through Goldbelly.
Roth’s Ice Cream Man also opens in theaters on August 7th. You can check out the red band trailer below:
