The Byers House from “Stranger Things” is Up for Sale!

Do you consider yourself the ultimate “Stranger Things” fan? Well, you could buy the actual Byers home! While Will, Joyce, and Jonathan Byers live on the outskirts of fictional town Hawkins, Indiana, the house is actually in Fayetteville area of Georgia. The 1,846 sqft single-family home was built in 1900, and does have central air. It sits on 6.17 acres surrounded by forests. Which may or may not have demogorgons in it.

If you’re considering buying the Byers home, make sure you are handy or at least know a good contractor. The listing specifies the house is being sold as is with “no seller disclosure,” and that it “does need a full rehab.” We believe the cutesy real estate terms for that are “fixer-upper” or “handyman’s dream.”

The listing also explains how the amount of traffic the house gets is both a blessing and a curse. “The owners had to put up a driveway barricade and private property signs just to keep people from trespassing, so needless to say the house gets a ton of attention,” the listing states.

But all that traffic also makes it a rather desirable rental property. It certainly fits in with the current trend of novelty Airbnbs like the “Friends” house. So, whoever buys this house after fixing it up could stand to make a substantial profit on that alone.

The $300,000 home was featured throughout the first few seasons of “Stranger Things” and remains a nostalgic touchstone for the series. The listing even shows the famous wall that Joyce uses to talk to her son in The Upsidedown.

But see for yourself in the Zillow listing.

“Stranger Things” season 1-4 are available to stream on Netflix now. Season 5 is currently in the pre-production process.
