Netflix and A24’s anthology show “Beef” had an outstanding first season, winning eight of the thirteen Emmys it was nominated for. For season two, the companies are focusing on bringing more A-list talent to the series.
Emmy nominee Oscar Isaac (“Scenes From a Marriage”) and three-time Oscar Nominee Carey Mulligan (“Maestro”) are currently in negotiations to star in season 2.

Sources indicate the second season will center around two feuding couples. However, there hasn’t been an official season 2 greenlight. So everything about what another season of “Beef” has in store should be taken with a grain of salt for the time being. [Even though, it would be insane if the show wasn’t renewed.]
Isaac and Mulligan’s roles were originally rumored to be for Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway, but that is no longer the case.
We will keep you posted on updates about “Beef” season two as it develops. You can catch season one streaming exclusively on Netflix.
