Whether you love to camp or just collect things for the end of the world, this water-powered flashlight is a must have. Unlike other flashlights, you don’t need to rely on a battery power source, nor do you have to crank an arm to provide a minutes’ worth of light. This flashlight is instead powered by water, which if you’re out in the middle of nowhere, you hopefully have nearby.
The HydraLight comes in a three pack on Amazon. Just one absorption will give you up to 72 hours of use. Of course these aren’t meant to be super powerful but instead to get you out of a jam. When you’re in the dark and looking for something like matches in the bottom of your travel bag, this could come in very handy. It activates in 15 seconds by wetting the base, and is great for emergency situations. I’d keep one in my glovebox, one in my purse and one in my travel bag.
They come with an on/off button on the top so you can click it and forget it. Not like other battery operated flashlights that you need to press down on to keep it lit.
