Conan O’Brien, who we’ve been watching since 1993 on late night television, is ending his long running talk show on TBS. But don’t get disappointed yet because he will be working on a new variety show for HBO Max.
So we’ll still get to see his silly shenanigans onscreen. As well as continue listening to his much loved podcast “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend.”
“Conan” will be showing its final episodes in June 2021.
Conan said in a statement:
“In 1993, Johnny Carson gave me the best advice of my career: ‘As soon as possible, get to a streaming platform.’ I’m thrilled that I get to continue doing whatever the hell it is I do on HBO Max, and I look forward to a free subscription.”
Hopefully this means he brings back Triumph the dog to include in his new show. We’re looking forward to it!
