“Jurassic World: Dominion” Takes Filming Break, Gets New Release Date

The upcoming dino-tastic film “Jurassic World: Dominion” just got another major delay, and we can’t say we’re surprised. The production kicked off in New Zealand after certain worldwide pandemic restrictions were lifted for the island nation, and original “Jurassic Park” stars Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum headed to set.

(2/2) entire cast & crew is paramount at all times, those who initially tested positive are currently self-isolating, as are those who they have come into contact with. As a result filming has been temporarily paused & will resume in accordance with established safety guidelines.

Just this week however, the production had to halt again, dude to conditions.

With that happening, it doesn’t come as a shock that the original release date for “Jurassic World: Dominion” is getting a pushback all the way into 2022.

So, we will of course let you know what else we hear about this and other films.

Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.
