“Wonder Woman 1984” Trailer Drops during DC FanDome

We knew today’s DC FanDome kickoff would include several first look things- trailers, title treatments, and new images for the upcoming slate of Warner Bros. Pictures DCEU titles.

While it’s been delayed a few times now, we’re still REALLY excited for “Wonder Woman 1984,” and Steve Trevor’s fannypack. The BEST part of the panel was when the original Wonder Woman Lynda Carter showed up!

“Mom, I finally understand. I understand why everyone idolized you,” Carter shared about her own experience with her daughter watching the revamped “Wonder Woman.”

Gadot says she calls Carter “mama bear,” and that is the purity we need in the world right now.

You can see the new trailer here.

“Wonder Woman 1984” stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Connie Nelson, and Robin Wright.

Director Patty Jenkins assures fans this movie WILL release theatrically. It’s currently slated to hit theaters on October 2nd, 2020.

Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.
