First they’re sour, then they’re sweet. It’s the gimmick that caught the world by storm. If you love Sour Patch Kids like I do, you’re going to want to put this store on your bucket list. The store is now housed a former New York City IT’SUGAR store, and IT’SUGAR will operate it.
“It’s incredibly exciting to collaborate with Mondelez International as we launch the world’s first Sour Patch Kids branded store,’” says Jeff Rubin, IT’SUGAR CEO and a 2018 Candy Hall of Fame inductee. “The concept behind this store is about bringing the beloved Sour Patch Kids brand to life through exclusive products and unique experiences.”
The place looks like a beautiful paradise of candy on the inside. A picture from the Sour Patch Kids store website looks Wonka-esque.
This place has everything you could ever want from a Sour Patch Kids store including a takeout menu! They have all kinds of Sour/Sweet concoctions to pick from as well as a mix and match bar. Right now they are doing pickups only but once places open back up you will be able to order inside.
Also if anyone goes there, can you please pick me up the all watermelon treat they have up on the shelf in the first picture? That sounds like heaven right now.
